I’ve been following Jess for about as long as I’ve been blogging, so when she reached out to me about revamping her whole brand and blog, I couldn’t have been more excited! Jess and her family had recently moved back to the States from Italy and the whole purpose of her site was changing. Jessica Lynn Writes was no longer “just” a blog, it’ll now also serve as a launchpad for her writing career in the San Diego area.
This was, and still is, one of my all-time favorite projects to work on – it challenged me as a designer and developer, and Jess was an absolutely joy to work with.

I’ve had an idea to rebrand my blog for a little while, but I couldn’t figure out how to put my jumbled ideas into reality, and I especially didn’t want it to cost a fortune. Fran came to my rescue; I loved that we talked “face to face” before the project started to make sure we were on the same page, and then I appreciated all the questions she asked me with the homework to make sure she had everything she needed. The minute I saw the mood-board she made, I knew it was going to be excellent. She’s also extremely patient and never made me feel like I was bothering her with too many questions or ideas—and I had a lot of questions and changes! – Jessica from Jessica Lynn Writes
