I know it’s only February – almost March! – but I think I might have a Top 5 favorite designs for the year, right here my friends. Rose was such an incredible client to work with and I am so, so happy with how everything turned out – bonus, one of the colors we used was purple!
Rose got in touch with me right at the end of last year wanting to give her blog a full facelift – one of her biggest requests was to make sure it was feminine and representative of her style, as well clean and user-friendly.
As I got to work on the moodboard, it quickly became evident that I would love this design through and through. The moodboard had me turning into little heart-eyed emojis!
The Blog Design
I love, love the way the design turned out for this one. I love the touches of color throughout and the softness the watercolor flowers bring to the overall design. I love how clean the overall design is, which allows Rose to highlight her food photography – which is key for a food blogger.
I would have to say my favorite part of the design was the use of the watercolor flowers – not only in the header but also the divider below the slider, as well as the social media icons. I loved playing with the placement and shape of those icons so they weren’t your standard boring icons in the sidebar.
