So I told you guys yesterday, after making that Halloween Wreath I’m all about ’em wreaths so of course I now had to share my fall wreath with felt flowers, which are strikingly good looking if I do say so myself lol. This bad boy went up the day after Halloween – gotta get maximum exposure haha.
So, first I did the felt flowers, following the steps I showed you yesterday. Once those were done it really was super duper easy to make. I got some burlap ribbon at Warmart for $3.50 (x2) and I just wrapped it around the foam shape like I did with the orange ribbon in my Halloween Ghost Wreath. Once that was done, I played around with the flowers and I cut up some leaves from felt to frame in the flowers.
Then, I just glued to flowers to the wreath. This did get a little tricky, but only because I’m impatient so I used those handy-dandy dressmaker pins to hold the flowers down as I moved on to gluing the other ones. I did push the pin all the way in the white hydrangea/fluffly looking flower at the bottom because I was a little nervous about it just falling off or something haha.
And that was that.
Like I said, easy peasy. I don’t have the patience for elaborate wreaths or crafts in general – though I might be making an elaborate one for Christmas… one of those ornament wreaths? Yeahhh…. We’ll see how that goes. Last christmas wreath I tried to make sat unfinished for months until Lance I think just threw it away haha
